C5X7 permanent error brake lights short circuit to plus
Hello,
First the right brake light failed and then the left one too.
The centre brake light still works.
Permanent fault codes: A4BE and A4BF = short circuit on positive.
The bulbs are not defective - removed and checked for continuity.
How can I rectify this fault - where is the most likely location for this short circuit.
C5 X7//HDI 163//2014/ Orga 13609// VIN VF7RWRHHAEL502563
Thank you for any information.
Greetings Wolfgang

Re: C5X7 permanent error brake lights short circuit to plus

Re: C5X7 permanent error brake lights short circuit to plus
Question: Do these cable breaks also occur in the tailgate area of the C5 X7 (C5 III) - as was more common with the C5I/C5II?
Or is something else the probable cause???
Greetings Wolfgang
